Although when clay is cured properly, there should be no issues; all items made of polymer clay are fragile to an extent. Because polymer clay is baked in an oven, any exposure to heat will affect it. Store your polymer clay items in cool, dry areas. If they are earrings, make sure to keep them protected from impact (i.e. refrain from tossing them in your straight into your tote bag with everything else). If the clay is dirty, gently wipe clean with a wet towel or alcohol wipe and they should be good.
